Manchester United midfielder, Bruno Fernandes, has named the two things manager, Ralf Rangnick wants from the Red Devils’ players.
Recall that Rangnick was appointed as Man United’s interim manager last week.
The German took charge of the team as they defeated Crystal Palace 1-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Fred netted the only goal of the game to give Rangnick’s side all three points against Crystal Palace.
Speaking after the game, Fernandes revealed that Rangnick wants ‘more pressure’ and ‘more aggressiveness’ from Man United players.
“It depends on the game,” Fernandes told Premier League productions after Man United defeated Palace.
“Sometimes you have to press a little bit more, sometimes you have to press less and everyone knows that it is one of the things that the manager wants from us. More pressure, to be more aggressive. We tried to do it [today].
“I think the first 25 minutes from us was unbelievable, great tempo and we don’t give any space to them. We recovered a lot of balls high up the pitch. We could’ve scored many times in the first half I think, at least three times, we could do a little more.
“But we got the three points and that is the most important thing.”
Man United faces Young Boys on Wednesday in a Champions League tie.
